How to Get The Most Out of LeoModo

If you've never outsourced video editing work before or have had bad experiences in the past when working remotely, this page is a MUST read. We believe it is a critical factor for a long-lasting relationship between you and our team. Otherwise, it can lead to a lot of frustration on both sides.

How to Delegate Video Editing Tasks and Give Feedback:

1. Profile and Communication

  - IMPORTANT: Please create a proper profile on your profile with a headshot image and your full name. Building a lasting relationship with you is our #1 priority, and we don't like to communicate with an anonymous email address.

2. Effective Delegation

  - Always use your unique task request form to delegate video editing tasks.

  - Paint the big picture: Explain how the task fits into your project.

  - Communicate your expectations: Specify if you want us to be creative or follow your detailed instructions.

  - Provide a detailed but concise task brief.

  - Divide your feedback into clear bullet points.

  - Include a link to a screen-recording video (using tools like Loom, Bubbles, or CloudApp) whenever possible (please no video uploads).

  - Include all necessary video resources in a Google Drive or Dropbox folder.

3. Feedback and Revision

  - When giving feedback, please be specific about what you like and don't like.

  - Consolidate all your feedback and send it in one comment instead of multiple ad-hoc messages.

  - Understand that we may work in different timezones, and incomplete task descriptions may lead to delays.

How NOT to Delegate Video Editing Tasks:

- Avoid assuming that we share your vision when using descriptive terms like "modern," "fresh," or "futuristic."

- Don't leave a string of single-sentence comments under tasks; consolidate your feedback.

- Use the task request form for new tasks instead of commenting on other tasks.

- Remember that a complete video project is not a single task; break it down into specific editing tasks.

Please Keep in Mind:

- Our video editing team operates from the Turkey, working from 8 am to 5 pm (GMT+3) Istanbul time.

- We don't work on weekends.

- Public holidays in the Turkey may affect our working hours, but we'll make up for lost time.

- Feel free to add tasks to your queue without waiting for the completion of previous tasks; it helps us manage our workload efficiently.

- When adding multiple tasks at once, prioritize one as high-priority.

- If you need assistance with project management, schedule a call with us, and we'll provide guidance.

LeoModo is committed to delivering high-quality video editing services and ensuring a smooth collaboration with our clients.
